" [/quote] May I add, not only to the beginner, but to those that seek More Knowledge of "religion(s)". Studying various religions, I do admitt I get a bit "agnostic" at times, but then I remind myself, these are just words I am reading and l must learn to "weed out" what IS and what IS NOT. That is when I seek Father for guidance- not religion. It is a "whirlwind" out there seeking True Religion- People think they MUST choose one.... OR ELSE!!! ( so they think/believe, or was 'taught' ) Being a Universalist Minister I AM required to read/learn various religions, and be able to perform (if requested) ceremonies of various faiths.... ( we are tested & graded ) I have no problem with that for God Is God, no matter where He sits (for me) He Is One In The Same Father. But let me say this- thre are some strange "old fashion" religious "freaks" out there! OI VEY! And much patience is needed when dealing with such individuals. WOW! been there done that ! As to Being with Father, in His ways, is the true gnosis... we need not go further... of course it also depends on the individual's "closeness to Father", does he/she even try, or embrace this devine "closeness"? or will he/she just walk on by truth in ignorance? Many choose the latter... guess it is easier to "buy into" the false preachers... regardless of what religion they speak of... than to surrender to the truth - the basics- the words and teachings that cost nothing, all you seek is there... It has been there for many ... yet few seek it. It is easier to buy into it, than learning/living it. A lot of people out there do a lot of talking about God, whether Gnostic or not. But look at those out there loving the poor, the hurting, the lonely, the sick, the dying, the outcast. Learn about their relationship with God and you will see a beautiful depth more often than not...they truly get it. They know who they are, where they are from and to where they are going. It is humbling indeed to be in the position of "helper"... and I say this for my self- "me a helper? when I am seeking Answers and help Myself?" but I guess that IS the mission we have been given - to be imperfect- making us strive MORE for that "perfection"- (that of Our Brother Jesus) YEP.. (me too) ... Don't HIT me with a "question" before I've had MY first cup o'Java either! OUCH! (lol) I write and write so much (in notebooks) and NEVER get to put out the "work" out there for all to see- (my bad- laziness perhaps?- ) LOL!- no- I am a spontaneous writer- I get the urge and I grab the first thing to write on... which is usually my small notebook. THEN I get LAZY to type it out - And Some Stuff (after I re-read it) is AMAZING! I get into topics I really never even thought of..... feels as if someone else wrote it... not me. so we all "fault" one way or the other... (CALL IT WHATEVER) it is that "voice from ..... ???" (our own inner self?) that you are faced with - some may think they are "angelic" but not so- they may be quite the opposite.
